We have an immediate opening in Israel, for a NPI Engineer, in our applications department.

Responsibilities
• Cross-functional Coordination – Work with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to transition products from development to production.
• Manufacturing Readiness – Ensure production processes, tooling, and equipment are ready for mass production.
• Process Validation & Optimization – Develop and validate manufacturing processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality.
• Prototype & Pilot Builds – Support prototype, engineering builds, and first-article inspections.
• Change Management (ECO, MCO) – Drive Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs).
• DFM/DFA Analysis – Collaborate with design teams to optimize products for manufacturability and assembly.
• Supplier & Vendor Interaction – Work with suppliers to ensure parts meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting – Identify and resolve early manufacturing issues.
• Documentation & SOPs – Create work instructions, BOMs, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Continuous Improvement – Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and automation strategies to improve processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
· Manufacturing & Process Engineering – Experience in high-tech production of multidisciplinary product including SW, Mechanical & Electrical components and systems, Motion systems, Optics.
· DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability & Assembly) – Knowledge of best practices.
· ERP & PLM Systems – SAP, Oracle, Windchill, or equivalent for BOM and change management.
· Quality & Reliability Standards – Experience with ISO 9001, IPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, and SPC methodologies.
· CAD & Simulation Tools (optional) – For reviewing designs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
· Material & Supply Chain Knowledge – Understanding of procurement, logistics, and supplier qualification.
Soft Skills
· Project & Program Management – Basic Project management capabilities (Gantt, risk assessment, identify bottlenecks)
· Productivity – High level of priorities management, Self managed with minimum supervision
· Leadership – Assertive, Makes think happen, Drive others towards successful results.
· Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis – Strong analytical skills (8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa).
· Cross-functional Communication – Communicate with engineering, production, and suppliers effectively.

· Presentation & Reporting – Ability to present NPI status and risks to leadership.
Experience & Educational Background
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or practical engineering in a related field.
· 3–7+ years of experience in NPI, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing in a high-tech industry (electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, medical devices, etc.).
· PMP, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred but not mandatory).
