Latet (לתת), Israel's largest NGO fighting poverty and food insecurity, is seeking a talented, driven professional to serve as Interim Director of International Development during a maternity leave cover. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-performing department that has consistently exceeded its goals and is constantly evolving and expanding. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fundraising & Donor Relations:
o Manage & meet annual fundraising goals.
o Manage relationships with existing partners, including private donors, foundations, Jewish federations, and corporate sponsors.
o Identify and engage new funding opportunities in international markets.
o Draft compelling proposals and reports for foundations, federations, and individual donors.
o Oversee donor stewardship and impact reporting.
• Strategic Development & Leadership:
o Develop and implement an annual fundraising work plan with clear goals and objectives.
o Supervise all fundraising activities within the international development department.
o Lead marketing and digital fundraising campaigns targeting overseas audiences.
o Host and manage delegations from abroad, strengthening ties with international partners.
• Team Management & Collaborations:
o Supervise and mentor a team of 4-5 staff members in the resource development department.
o Coordinate with Latet’s local and international teams to align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.
o Represent Latet at relevant meetings and conferences abroad when required.
• A deep commitment to the organization’s values and a genuine passion for driving social change
• Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or fundraising.
• Strong marketing orientation.
• Management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
• Languages: English: Native-level proficiency (mandatory), Hebrew: Proficiency required. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and take initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/donor management systems.
• Previous involvement with Jewish communities or philanthropic networks abroad- advantage.
• Experience in grant writing and donor relations- advantage.
Full-time position based in Latet’s Tel Aviv office, with occasional travel abroad as needed. Further details regarding compensation and benefits will be given at the interview stage.?
