ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) engineer is required for R&D and customer support, in the field of ESD and Latch-Up protection of integrated circuits.
Tasks:
• Development of devices and methods for protection of integrated circuits from ESD and Latch-Up.
• Independently executing literature survey, development of electrical devices and methods for ESD protection, performing process and device simulations, planning of experiments using statistical and computerized aids, design of testing structures, electrical measurements, realizations of the devices and design-rules in documents and PDK (Process Design Kit), and consulting/support to the organization in subjects related to ESD and LU.
• Customer support, focal point for ESD and Latch-Up to Tower customers
• The work requires interaction with a wide range of interfaces inside and outside the organization and the ability to drive projects.
The work requires multidisciplinary knowledge in the various subjects related to semiconductor devices and integrated circuits, in-depth familiarity of the physical principles of the operation of devices, as well as practical approach integrating development and realization of the devices and protection methods, writing relevant instructions and documents, and support internal and external customers.
• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Advanced degree – an advantage. Research experience – an advantage.
• Fluent English
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Deep understanding of Semiconductor Physics
• Able to handle projects and strategic activities independently and execute them successfully
• Experience in design of semiconductor devices – an advantage
• Experience in design of electrical circuits – an advantage.
• Experience in electrical measurements and characterization – an advantage
• Knowledge of statistical design of experiments and analysis – an advantage
• Understanding of Silicon Processing - an advantage
