VP Operations

VP Operations is part of the company’s management team, will report to the CEO and will be responsible for all aspects of direction, strategy, planning and execution for all the company’s manufacturing sites (Domestic and abroad).
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall operations vision and strategy of the company while maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
• Lead the development of operational strategies and meet goals while execution plans to reduce inventories, reduce variable cost, improve availability, improve quality and improve employee satisfaction and performance.
• Lead the Operation department across organization with responsibility for:
o Supply chain management (Purchasing, import/export and domestic shipments).
o Production planning.
o Manufacturing and assembly.
o Inventory management (including Warehouses).
• Submit management with short and long-term production plan which balances between in-house activities and external vendors.
• Upgrade the in-house production capabilities to effectively meet production demand changes.
• Design and upgrade the current production plant to meet industry standards.
• Recruit, train, develop and evaluate key team staff at the operations department.
• Implement design to cost and cost reduction process using multiple vendors and subcontractors.
