The Sports Market Project Manager is responsible for leading the development of a profitable and sustainable national sports offering. You will drive market analysis, product selection, and brand development for your sport, ensuring our offering meets customer needs and market trends. You will collaborate with stakeholders to execute a strategic sports project, acting as the key ambassador for the Decathlon brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and animate the sports market project, analyzing trends and co-creating strategies with stakeholders.
Develop a multi-level product offering, including passion brands, localized products, and external collaborations.
Support stores in selecting the best local ranges using data-driven insights.
Drive the commercial performance with a yearly marketing and pricing strategy.
Serve as a brand ambassador, building visibility through content creation and collaborations.
Manage the omnichannel ecosystem, ensuring a cohesive customer experience across platforms.
Strong adaptability to changing market conditions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (fluent in English and/or French).
Experience leading teams in both direct and functional modes (e.g., city/store leadership, service leadership).
Strong knowledge of offer construction, including user persona development, project management, and offer costing.
Proficiency in digital and social media across mobile and desktop platforms.
Experience with digital marketing and performance marketing.
Financial efficiency skills, including supply chain management, negotiation, and cost control.
Omnichannel mindset with the ability to manage complex ecosystems.
Strategic thinker with the capacity to formalize and execute business strategies.
User-oriented approach, ensuring product and service alignment with customer needs.
