a growing medical-device company, is looking for a hands-on R&D Project & Design Engineer to join our R&D team.
This role combines mechanical design and product development with real project ownership - taking ideas from concept and prototyping through testing and implementation, working closely with R&D, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Operations, and external suppliers.
What You'll Do:
? Drive R&D projects from planning through completion
? Build and track project plans, milestones, and action items
? Coordinate cross-functional activities and keep projects moving
? Identify risks and dependencies and proactively solve them
? Perform hands-on mechanical design and product development
? Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
? Develop prototypes and support design iterations and testing
? Support material and manufacturing-process selection
? Work with suppliers on technical development
? Support V&V, design reviews, risk management, and documentation
דרישות התפקיד
What You'll Bring:
?? Medical devices industry experience - required
?? B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
?? 2-5 years' experience in mechanical engineering / product development / R&D
?? Hands-on 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks)
?? Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
?? Experience with prototyping and mechanical testing
?? Strong organizational and project coordination skills
?? A proactive, hands-on mindset with real ownership
?? Fluent English
Nice to have: Design Control / Risk Management / V&V familiarity, Minitab, global supplier/cross-functional experience.
